THE CONTROL OF TUNNEL LIGHTNING
The luminance ( cd/m2 ) and illuminance ( lx ) in the tunnel must comply to the European standards.
The main reason is traffic security. The luminance in the tunnel depends on the luminance that the driver can see when he is approaching to theTunnel portal. We need appropriate luminance sensor and computer (PLC ) control automatization with special software. |
BENEFITS of Photometer SBSF - 04 :
- Extreme stable measurememnts of luminance in front of tunnel or inside the tunnel.
Exceptionaly stable measurement in the range of law luminance, where the computer make decision about DAY and NIGHT.
- Photometer SBSF - 04 is extremly reliable in long years of operation.
- The characteristic of sensor is very close to sensibility of human eyes.
- High resistance against water and dust.
- The front tempered glass has temperature sensor and heater.
Photometer for tunnel measure the luminance value L20 according to CIE recommendations. The value L20 determinate the level of luminance inside the tunnel.
Value L20 use PLC ( computer ) for driving the lights inside the tunnel in different levels of illuminance.
